Cutler Law Firm is pleased to welcome Cade Damgaard and Aftyn Heitkamp to the firm as they participate in Cutler Law Firm’s summer associate program, which runs through August.
Cade Damgaard:
Cade is a Sioux Falls, South Dakota native and joins Cutler Law Firm as a 2026 Summer Associate. He attends the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where he has served as a research assistant and currently serves as an editor for the South Dakota Law Review. Prior to law school, Cade earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Augustana University, where he was also a member of the men’s tennis team. Outside of work and school, Cade enjoys golfing, fishing, and going to the movies.
Aftyn Heitkamp
Aftyn grew up in Garretson, SD and joins Cutler Law Firm as a 2026 Summer Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Science from South Dakota State University and is currently pursuing her JD at USD Knudson School of Law. While in law school, Aftyn serves at the President of the Student Bar Association, a member of the South Dakota Law Review, and a faculty research assistant. In her free time, Aftyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her two nephews, as well as golfing and running.
