We assist clients in obtaining the court appointment of a guardian to make legal decisions on behalf of a minor, special needs person, or adult who require a guardian because of injury or illness. Guardians typically are appointed to assist with healthcare or other non-monetary decisions. We also assist in appointing a conservator to safeguard the assets of a protected person and make financial decisions on their behalf when they are deemed unable to do so. We also help the conservator or guardian to ensure compliance after appointment.
