Cutler Law Firm, LLP is excited to welcome Matthew Pesicka and Taylor Anderson to the firm as they participate in Cutler Law Firm’s summer intern program, which runs through August.
Matt is a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduating from Washington High School in 2018, he moved to Vermillion to attend the University of South Dakota. Matt graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in three years through the University’s 3 + 3 Law School Fast-track program. Matt is currently attending the University of South Dakota’s Knudson School of Law where he will earn his J.D. in 2024. While in law school, Matt stays busy working concurrently on his Master of Public Administration degree and serving as an Associate Editor for the South Dakota Law Review. In his time between coursework, Matt serves as President of the Environmental Law Society and served as President of the Family Law and Child Advocacy club. Outside of his academic engagements, Matt enjoys volunteering at the Sioux Falls YMCA’s Leif Ericson Day Camp and exploring the great outdoors with his girlfriend, Lily, and adventurous dog, Albus.
Taylor is a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Dakota, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors program recognition. Taylor currently attends the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where she will receive her J.D. in 2024. She serves as the President of the Moot Court Board and as an admissions and marketing research assistant. Taylor is also a proud member of USD Knudson School of Law Women in Philanthropy, as well as many other organizations. Outside of her legal education, Taylor enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family.
Cutler Law Firm believes that summer legal internships provide valuable opportunities for law students to experience private practice. Our internship is structured to provide our interns with broad exposure to legal issues and problems that extend past research and writing, alone. We believe that an impactful internship includes client meetings and an exposure to dealing with the daily issues that arise in private practice.
