Cutler Law Firm, LLP Associate, Tanner Fitz, recently volunteered as a judge at the annual University of South Dakota School of Law 1L Client Counseling Competition.
Attorneys in the area are asked to judge the competition and provide feedback to the first-year law students. The competition is held at the Law School in February each year and organized by the student-led Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Board.
“It was a great experience. I remember competing in the competition my first year and eventually helped organize it my later years. It provides an opportunity for attorneys to connect with students in a positive, constructive way,” said Fitz. “This year’s competition had a lot of talent and it was a close competition. It was fun to be a part of.”
